Arrest Made in Rape of Teen Girl
Tarpon Springs Police have charged a 17-year-old boy and are investigating two others.
An April 13 house party turned into a crime scene when Tarpon Springs Police say a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by as many as three boys all under the age of 18.
The attack at the "no adults" party occurred around 1 a.m. after the girl became “intoxicated and was reportedly taken advantage of by possibly three males,” Capt. Jeffrey P. Young wrote in a release to media.
Officers arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with the case. He is charged with sexual battery, Young said.
