Olympic Gold Medalist To Give Water Safety Lesson
Brooke Bennett will visit the North Pinellas area in August.
Brooke Bennett, a three time Olympic gold medalist swimmer, will conduct a water safety event at the Palm Harbor YMCA on August 24.
The event is being held in conjunction with Big Brothers, Big Sisters Pinellas County and will include Bennet giving instruction to “Littles” (children) and their “Bigs” (mentors) in the program.
The program is only open to Big Brother, Big Sisters members.
Following the safety lesson, attendees will be encouraged to spend free time swimming and diving. In addition to the lesson, dinner will be provided and guests will have photos and autograph opportunities with Brooke Bennett.
