Supermoon Caught on Camera

Patch reader, Jim McAvaddy captured the supermoon that occurred over the weekend.

Thanks to Jim McAvaddy for sharing these stellar images of the June supermoon, which took place over the weekend.

On June 22-23, the moon was at perigee — its closest approach to Earth, according to Astronomy magazine's website. The moon was just 221,824 miles away from us.
