Complete Family Chiropractic Focuses on the Patient First

The team has been in Tarpon Springs for more than a decade.

Dr. Mike Marcell has been bringing top-notch chiropractic care to the Tarpon Springs community for 13 years.

Patients are the primary focal point of the practice. Marcell says that each individual has his or her own unique journey to a healthy life, and that he is an expert tour guide through that journey.

When Marcell finished his schooling, he was considering orthopedic surgery as a profession. He discovered chiropractics and was drawn to the field. The more he researched the subject, the more he found himself craving to be a part of it.

“It fell into my philosophical parameters very well,” Marcell said.

He has a “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it” mentality. Marcell says that instead of treating one symptom with medication, people miss out on finding the root of the actual problem and may end up with more issues at the end of the day.

Instead of going directly to prescription medication or surgery, Marcell would prefer to have people explore their options with natural healing.

“The body heals itself if given the chance,” Marcell said. “All we’re saying is let's see if it heals itself first, and if it doesn’t, then traditional medicine is there for that purpose.”

He is not anti-medical treatment by any means. In fact, Complete Family Chiropractic has an in-house medical doctor that will eventually help grow the business into a full-spectrum health center.

Although a lot of his patients are referred because they have been in an automobile accident or have injured themselves doing physical activity, Marcell says there is another branch of clients you would never expect: People who are fully healthy.

Dr. Marcell says that individuals who are healthy and are not injured can benefit from Complete Family Chiropractic as well. Patients who seek to maintain their health and build on it have a home at Complete Family Chiropractic.

A new partnership with a neighboring business, the gym Anytime Fitness, offers incentives for patients to either get healthy or stay healthy. Nutrition is also part of the equation.

Marcell emphasizes all aspects of a healthy life rather than just writing a script or injecting medication. With a balanced meal plan, a consistent exercise routine and the new vitamin B12 program, Marcell says that the success rates are soaring.

Complete Family Chiropractic’s services are available to all ages, from tiny tots to geriatric patients. Future plans for Marcell include expanding into a one-stop shop for all things health.

“My vision is to have an affordable, community recognized place where people can get what they need, within reason,” Marcell said.

This is the best hometown Dr s office ever. Everyone there is very professional, polite, and genuinely friendly. The entire office staff is that way. I have NEVER left there dissatisfied by the service and/or care that I have received. When I say EVERYONE there is WONDERFUL, I mean EVERYONE there is WONDERFUL!!! From the time you check-in to the time you check-out. I feel like I am in Mayberry everytime I enter the door at Complete Family Chiropratic Health Care. When is the last time that you have felt that way about your Dr. and his entire staff? Everyone there is completely competant, professional, consistant, friendly, and genuinely care about you as a person.

YES! Tarpon Springs needs the Sunday Market - and maybe even more healthy opportunities for us toRead More gather around, visit, share local talents and products. It is essential for the vibrancy of any community to have reasons to come together, but all the reasons mentioned should not be underestimated - supporting local growers and cottage industries has amazing unquantifiable value. Bring it back! During the summer months, when it might be too hot for our morning market, the evenings are a beautiful gathering time. The morning market could continue in an evening version.
