Food Truck Rally, Spring Cleanup, Art Festival

The weekend ahead promises to be anything but dull. Use our rundown of events to shape your weekend plans.

Friday 

No Sex Please - We're British will be performed Friday through Saturday at the Tarpon Springs Performing Arts Center. On Friday and  Saturday, the show starts at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, it begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 or $17 for members and students.

Saturday

As part of the city's spring cleaning project, residents can drop off mobile electronic devices and chemicals at Tarpon Springs High School from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Located in the Mother Meres lot at Tarpon and Pinellas avenues, the Garden Club Plant Sale will be taking place from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Get your shop on for exotic plants and annual buds.

The Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks will host the Arts and Crafts Festival on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Explore the docks along Dodecanese Blvd. for unique buys and one-of-a-kind works of local art. 

Join local merchants in the seasonal Food Truck Rally event, which takes place along the historically scenic Tarpon Avenue. Vendors will be serving up hot and cold plates from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Live entertainment and family friendly fun will be taking place as well.

The Tarpon Springs Cultural Center will host latin guitar guru, David Burgess. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are just $16 ($14 for members, students).

Sunday

Residents registered for regular sanitation pick up are encouraged to clean house and leave unwanted objects curbside by 7 a.m. The morning cleanup will conclude the city-wide cleaning for the weekend. Use our list of objects that will and won't be picked up here.

The Tarpon Sunday Market will be in full swing starting at 10 a.m. Fresh produce, live music and locally crafted goods will be showcased at the market this weekend.
