Unique Finds For Sale at New Tarpon Shop

Old and new treasures are available at Unique Finds.

A new shop is offering treasures for sale at 536 N. Pinellas Ave.

Unique Finds, which specializes in antiques and also sells modern wares, opened its doors at the former home of the Junken Treasure earlier in September.

Nancy Logaglio has dealt with antiques and “unique” finds for years. Her mother owned an antique business in Upstate New York. She remembers collecting bottles with her.

For the past eight years, she and her family have run a local estate liquidation company. When the Junken Treasure closed its doors, Logaglio thought the time was right to move in

She cleaned up, gave it a new coat of paint and opened up shop with her husband, son and her son’s fiancée.

“This has always been a dream of ours, own a nice little shop in a quaint little town,” Logaglio said.

Unique Finds changes its stock on a weekly basis, but its most recent offerings were a mix of old and new.  A dynamite plunger, a billy club and a rice cutter shared space with paintings, kitchenware, restored furniture and more.

“I think some of our objects are very unique,” Logaglio said.

Want to see what Unique Finds has in store? The shop is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. It’s closed on Monday.
