1. Tarpon Springs Sweetbay Closing

A Tarpon Springs Sweetbay Supermarket, at 1943 U.S. Alt. 19 N, is among 33 under performing stores in Florida scheduled to close in Feburary, the grocer's parent company announced Wednesday. What do you wish would replace it?

3. Food Truck Rally Heading to Tarpon

For Tarpon Springs, February promises to be chock full of special events and local flavor, including a Food Truck Rally in the historic downtown area of Tarpon Avenue on Feb. 9 and more.

4. Now Open: 701 Taphouse

Although many were sad to see the Black Grouper close in late 2012, the void has been filled by a new Tarpon Springs business, 701 Taphouse. Have you checked it out yet?

701 Taphouse is a great new place for Tarpon!! I think it will help attract folks from all over the area to come and experience the great things Tarpon has to offer!
