A prisoner who reportedly escaped from a work-release facility in Tarpon Springs earlier this month was arrested over the weekend at a Chuck E. Cheese restaurant, the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Anthony Pruitt, 22, escaped from the Brady Road prison Jan. 18, authorities said.
He was arrested Saturday afternoon at the Chuck E. Cheese restaurant at 1024 58th St. N. by St. Petersburg Police, the Times reports.
Pruitt faces new charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle and possession of a controlled substance, in addition to his existing rap sheet, as outlined by the Times:
Pruitt had been serving a sentence for burglary, grand theft and cocaine possession, according to records from the Florida Department of Corrections. He had been incarcerated in 2011 and was scheduled for release in April, an arrest affidavit filed Sunday states.
He was being held without bail at the Pinellas County Jail and awaiting trial, according to online sheriff's records.
