A Sound Decision and Off the Beaten Path Receive Beautification Awards
The two local businesses were recently honored by the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce.
The Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce awarded its monthly Beautification Award to two area businesses, A Sound Decision and Off the Beaten Path, at a recent Tarpon Springs Board of Commissioners meeting.
The award is given to business owners that have revamped their properties for the better.
"They are people who are taking over buildings that are less than wonderful and making them wonderful," Chamber President Sue Thomas said.

The Tarpon Springs Chamber started giving out the award four years ago. According to Thomas, nearly 40 businesses have been recognized through the award.
A Sound Decision is a one-stop shop for home theater enthusiasts. The shop offers everything from professional consultations to accessories to installation.

"I don't know which is better, the outside or the inside," Thomas said of A Sound Decision's property.
Off the Beaten Path is a home furnishings shop. From a tiki bar to unique tables and chairs, the store has a little something for every taste.
"What they did with this building is absolutely amazing," Thomas said of Off the Beaten Path.
