City Chamber, Art Association Join Forces

The Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Art Association developed a one-of-a-kind headquarters in the heart of the city.

Located at 111 East Tarpon Avenue, the Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce building also houses an art gallery known as Artists’ Faire. The gallery was a joint effort by the chamber and the Tarpon Springs Art Association.

Guests can enjoy all the offerings of a typical chamber office, but with a creative bonus. Oil paintings, pottery and fine art photographs line the walls of the 3,500 square foot space. Other pieces of art in the gallery include etched glass and watercolor paintings.

For the most part, works in the gallery are from local artists.

Artists’ Faire has a leasing program that folks can choose to be a part of. Businesses and households are able to lease artwork on a three month basis with the option to renew, opt out of the lease or purchase the artwork.

The Tarpon Springs Chamber of Commerce functions as a separate business, but the two coexist well. Visitors can discover useful information about area restaurants, shops and attractions.

There is no fee to stroll through the gallery or to visit the chamber. It is open seven days a week and the hours of operation are Mondays through Saturdays 10:30am-5pm and Sundays 12-5pm.
