After the results reached the public, fellow candidates voiced positive thoughts to Patch:

"If I feel the way I do right now at the next election, I'll run again because I have nothing but good feelings about it."

-Jim Bouldin

"I'm very happy with what I did so far and I think David is going to be a great City Commissioner."

-Tommy Frain

" I want to congratulate Mr. Banther for his win first of all and I want to remind him that nearly 60% of the voters did not vote for him. As a result, it is now important for the City Commissioners to work together to unite the voters who obviously were divided by this election. I wish to also congratulate the new comers Mr. Frain and Mr. Bouldin for their hard work and williingness to devote the time and their efforts and hope they continue to work to see their ideas brought forward."

-Tim Keffalas
